1. How do I schedule an appointment?

2. Can I bring a companion with me to my Dentiland appointment?

Absolutely, you are free to bring a guest.
3. What forms of payment do you accept from U.S. patients?
We accept virtually all forms of payment including:
- Cash / U.S. dollars
- Major U.S. credits cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
- U.S. insurance plans (PPO Only). Please contact our office to verify coverage with your specific plan.
4. Am I allowed to travel from the U.S. to Mexico during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Americans are currently permitted to travel to Mexico during COVID-19 for essential needs, such as medical services including dental treatment.
5. What documents do I need to enter Mexico and then return to the U.S.?

If you are an American citizen, you will need a valid U.S. passport to enter Mexico and re-enter the U.S. on your return.

To expedite your border crossing, we can issue you a complimentary medical pass. This pass enables you to receive faster crossing.
6. How do I cross the border from California into Mexico?

To enter Mexico by car, simply drive to the San Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego. There are many road signs; you can’t miss it.

Alternately, you can leave your car in an all-day parking lot on the U.S. side of the border and walk into Mexico through the Port of Entry.
7. How do I get to your office after I cross the border into Mexico?

Tijuana is right on the U.S. – Mexico border; once you enter Mexico, you will be in Tijuana. If you intend to drive across the border into Mexico, simply follow the directions on your GPS to our office.

If you intend to walk across the border, you’ll easily find a taxi once you exit the Port of Entry into Tijuana. Our office is less than two miles away.
8. Can I bring my child for treatment?

Absolutely! Dentiland’s owner, Dr. Brenda Licon, is one of the few certified pediatric dentists in the area. That means she has additional advanced training and experience in treating children. Dr. Licon was recently featured in a magazine article for her pediatric care.
9. Will my dental work require multiple visits?

We will make every effort to complete your dental work in one visit. Crowns, bridges, dentures, Invisalign and braces are created at a dental lab which may take a few days. In those instances, one or more additional visits will be needed. Certain children’s treatments may require multiple visits, or if indicated from an evaluation at the office, we can offer a one-visit treatment with full sedation at the nearby hospital.
